Fiona Yensen

With ten years’ experience working across a variety of private sector organisations, followed by 18 years in the Civil Service – with much of this time spent delivering learning, personal development and wellbeing interventions, Fiona brings a wealth of experience to Thresholds. A trained facilitator, coach and mentor, Fiona’s first experience of the impact of Thresholds was when she mentored several women and noted such a remarkable difference in their personal confidence and clarity around goals, that Fiona undertook the 12-month programme herself. She was so impressed by the programme she became a Thresholds Facilitator! As a mum of two, Fiona understands the challenges and importance of maintaining a healthy life-work balance. Her role as a Deputy Race Champion in the Home Office was an opportunity to support people from ethnic minority backgrounds to reach their highest potential – something which Fiona is truly passionate about. Fiona holds a degree in Organisational Development & Marketing.
